introduction, english guided tour, german guided tour
shuttle bus back to Deutsches Museum
The age of microsystems and nanotechnology has arrived. It heralds the beginning of a new revolution in human history, which will have profound impact on the way we live and work in the future. We invite you to take a journey to the Micro-Worlds, a world beyond human vision but not beyond reach. Many of the products and devices that we use every day are large enough to see and touch but they can have tiny parts embedded in them. Those Microsystems are functional and intelligent devices or machines that sense information from the environment and react to it. Microsystems make passive objects smart objects. In the interactive exhibition, a broad range of applications powered by microsystems technology is presented: No matter if it comes to the prevention and cure of illnesses, the safety of mobility or the investigation of planet Mars you can always count on microsystems. A shuttle will take you at to the SIEMENS Forum to visit the technology exhibition "Micro Worlds Future Worlds: The invisible Revolution".
